How do we find hope?

Have you made time to be still and listen to him so you can speak with confident hope to yourself and then those around you? He is waiting to rush in like a flood of hope for every situation. Sometimes things are so challenging that we struggle to hear for ourselves. 

If you are struggling can I encourage you to get with a group of believers today who can help shine his hope into your soul until you are ready and able to find it for yourself? I call my hope filled place "church" and my soul is deeply appreciative of it. I don't know how people do life without this hope support team. If a place you've known in the past wasn't hope filled but called itself "church" it was an imposter. Try another. Search until you find the real deal. You will know it by the shining hope reflected in the faces of those within its walls. Keep searching until you find it.

He wants to be found by you. He doesn't play hide and seek. Earnestly seek! And you are always welcome to join me in the place where I fill up each week, Crossroads Community Church.

Proverbs 2:1-6

My son, if you accept my words,
    and treasure my instructions—

making your ear attentive to wisdom,
    and turning your heart to understanding—

if, indeed, you call out for insight
    and raise your voice for understanding,

if you seek it like silver
    and search for it like hidden treasure,

then you will understand the fear of the Lord
    and learn to know God.

For the Lord gives wisdom,
    and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
