Create a clean heart in me, Oh Lord. Renew a right spirit within me. Search me, know me, examine my ways. See if there are any false/unproductive ways that aren’t giving true light, the light of Truth, within me. Thank You for being ever gentle with my spirit. Align my spirit to Your Spirit. Forgive me for any darkness I’ve harbored that disallowed the unity of our spirits. Reveal it to me so that I am able to turn from it and fully toward You. Toward the radiant light of Your countenance. Drench my reality in this light. Make Your face to shine upon me, upon the path You have established for my feet today.
Equip me to walk it with confidence, hopeful of all You will accomplish through me as choose I to remain in step with Your Spirit. Make me ever mindful of Your purpose, Your story, Your calling, Your kingdom. Protect my mind from the distractors. Give me Your precise focus upon the most important things today, let the others simply fade away and be completely unengaging as I mindfully chose to fix my gaze upon You and as I, through the ministering of Your very Spirit, am able to come to accept that in the process You fix Your loving, omniscient, gaze of grace upon me, Your humble dust child.
I love you, Yahweh. The words, “Thank You,” will simply never be enough. So instead, let my actions today resonate this sentiment. May they resonate into the heavens, lifted by the sweet aroma of an offering from a heart of gratitude.
